Why We're Here

CCC's Student Ministry exists so that young people would know Jesus as Lord, be transformed together by Him, and be empowered as supernatural world changers.

What We're Called to Do

Our mission is to provide an environment where young people have the opportunity to encounter Jesus as a present reality, take the next step in their faith, and be equipped for their calling.

Students meet on Wednesday nights to worship God through music, read His Word together, and have discipleship-based discussions. On Sunday mornings we meet for continued reflection and group discussion on the message from the previous Wednesday night.

Midweek Youth Group: Wednesdays, 7:00-8:30 pm, Student Center (Room 12)

Sundays: 1st service, 9:30-10:40 am, Student Center (Room 12)

Student Ministry Happenings

Mexico Missions Trip Informational Meeting – December 16, 12:30-1:30 pm in the Student Center

For the last three years, CCC Student Ministries has headed up a missions trip to Mexicali, Mexico. We will be doing so again this year, March 15-23! Students and parents—if you are interested in going with us, please make this meeting a priority. Pastor Eli will be giving vital information about the trip—We’ll be talking about our possible ministry projects (these change slightly each year), paperwork, travel details, cost, team training dates, and requirements.

Student Ministry Christmas Party! – December 19

Our Christmas Party this year will be the normal Youth Group time (7:00-8:30 pm), and the theme this year is “Christmas Morning”. We’ll have breakfast food, a milk & cookie bar, a read-aloud Christmas story, games, etc., and everybody is encouraged to wear their most awesome Christmas-themed pajamas!

Angel Tree Deliveries – December 22, 9:00 am-12:00 pm

Each year the Student Ministry heads up the Angel Tree program at Christ Community Church. Angel Tree is an organization that allows local churches to purchase Christmas gifts on behalf of incarcerated parents for their children. This year, our church has the honor of being a part of this amazing program again! On December 22, the students at CCC (with staff volunteers) will drive around the city and deliver the gifts. We will meet at CCC at 9:00 am and leave by 9:15 for deliveries. Since each car finishes at different times, students will be dropped off at home after deliveries have been made.

City of Refuge – Every 4th Monday of the month, 4:30–6:30 pm

On the 4th Monday of every month (except December!), CCC’s Student Ministry cooks and serves dinner at the City of Refuge Men’s Shelter in Downtown Idaho Falls. This is a chance for us to show love and kindness to people God loves and to act as His hands and feet in our local community. Everyone is welcome to join us.
